High-Growth Equity
Investing for Individual Clients
For expert money management of your
important assets, an Oberweis Premier
Account managed by Oberweis Asset
Management, Inc. offers distinct advantages: a proven
investment philosophy and a dedicated team
of money managers steeped in a family
tradition of investing.
At Oberweis, we are committed to
investing in companies at the forefront of
innovation – smaller company stocks that
offer the potential for extraordinary
revenue and earnings growth.
For over 20 years, we have focused
exclusively on these companies, seeking
opportunities where rapid change is driving
growth and the potential exists for superior
investment results over the long-term. Our
time-tested and proprietary
Oberweis Octagon
is a specific research framework that allows
us to quickly identify and understand the
companies driving innovation in the global
economy.
In addition to managing accounts for
private individuals, trusts, institutions,
and retirement accounts, Oberweis Asset
Management, Inc. is the advisor to The
Oberweis Funds, a family of no-load mutual
funds. The firm is 100% owned by employees
of the firm and their families. |

The Premier Account Client
The Premier Account client typically seeks an
aggressive approach toward portfolio management.
Premier account portfolios are generally
invested in 20-40 (smaller) companies with
high-growth potential. Premier account clients
are often willing to assume above average
volatility in the short-term in exchange for a
greater potential long-term return. Oberweis
also offers balanced accounts for clients with a
less aggressive risk profile, combining
small-cap, mid-cap, and large-cap equities with
conservative fixed income securities to develop
the optimal portfolio for your desired level of
risk. Your portfolio manager will work with you
to customize your strategic asset allocation.
In addition to offering the small-cap
expertise and strong performance record of the
Oberweis portfolio management team, an Oberweis
Premier Account provides a level of personalized
attention not available with most cookie cutter
wrap accounts at other investment firms.
Portfolios are custom designed for each account
to meet an individual investor’s needs. A
Premier Account also allows investors in taxable
accounts to realize gains/losses according to
their own tax situations. |
| |
| Internet Accessible Through our
secure website, clients have access to daily
account valuations. Clients also receive
trade confirmations, monthly statements, and
quarterly performance reports. |
| |
| Management Fees Fees for the
Premier Account are computed as a percentage
of the total account value and scale down
based on the size of the account. The
minimum account size is $250,000. |

| Management fees are in addition to a $20
handling charge per trade executed through
Oberweis Securities. There are no additional
fees outside of this schedule - fees solely
consist of a percentage of the account size
plus $20 per trade.
The above fee schedule is designed to
align the interest of the firm with that of
our client to the highest degree possible.
By passing on an order execution cost of $20
per trade, the firm has little incentive to
effect more or less transactions than would
be in the best interest of our client.
Premier account management fees may be
tax-deductible. Please consult your tax
advisor for details. |

| Asset Custody Accounts are
carried by National Financial Services LLC
(“NFS”), a Fidelity Investments Company.
Securities in accounts carried by NFS are
protected by SIPC up to $500,000 (including
cash claims limited to $100,000). NFS has
arranged for additional unlimited insurance
protection for cash and securities to
supplement its SIPC coverage. Neither
coverage protects against a decline in the
market value of securities |

| Why should I own small-cap stocks?
Over long periods of time, small-cap stocks
have proven to be the most rewarding area of
the stock market, producing long-term
results in excess of most other asset
classes.
The most comprehensive study on capital
market returns, Stocks, Bonds, Bills and
Inflation 2009 Yearbook, written by Roger
Ibbotson and Rex Sinquefield, compared the
long-term returns of different asset classes
and found that small-cap stocks outperformed
every other asset class studied over long
time periods. In particular, they found that
in the period from 1926 to 2008, small-cap
stocks had a compound annual return of
11.7%, versus 9.6% for large-cap stocks and
5.7% for bonds. |
| |
| What makes up a typical $500,000
portfolio? A typical $500,000
portfolio would own approximately 30
small companies that appear to have high
growth potential. As long as the company's
future growth prospects remain bright,
Oberweis tends to increase or maintain
positions. In fact, many of the most
successful stocks have been held in client
accounts for years. On the other hand,
should a company's fundamental business
begin to deteriorate, Oberweis will normally
exit at the first signs of a slowdown. |

| How do I know if a Premier Account is
right for me? Those best suited for an
Oberweis Premier Managed Account are
investors with a long-term investment time
horizon and the desire to maximize capital
appreciation over time. They have a
willingness to assume above-average
volatility in the short-term in exchange for
a greater potential long-term return. Many
clients with managed accounts have
substantial assets as a result of success in
their own careers, but often do not have the
time, discipline, resources or experience to
build an investment plan. They realize the
value of using a seasoned professional money
management team that exercises a disciplined
and proven investment philosophy, and has
the ability to respond quickly to market
news or earnings announcements to help
maximize their investment returns. |
