Oberweis Asset Management, Inc. (“OAM”) is an
independent investment management firm that invests in
high growth companies around the world. The firm
specializes in Micro and Small Capitalization growth
strategies globally for institutional investors and its
own proprietary mutual fund family. Established in 1989,
OAM is headquartered in suburban Chicago with a
subsidiary Oberweis Asset Management (Asia) Limited (“OAMA”)
licensed and located in Hong Kong.
The Oberweis Funds, is a no load mutual fund family
consisting of six funds, each of which addresses a
unique market opportunity both inside and outside the
United States. Among our three domestic portfolios, the
Micro-Cap Fund (OBMCX) invests in micro-capitalization
companies, while the Emerging Growth Fund (OBEGX) and
the Small-Cap Opportunities Fund (OBSOX) invest in
small-capitalization companies. We also offer three
funds that allow investors to capitalize on growth
trends abroad. Our China Opportunities Fund (OBCHX),
which was launched in October 2005, invests primarily in
smaller companies that are positioned to benefit from
growth in China, the new frontier of the 21st Century.
Our newest fund, the Asia Opportunities Fund (OBAOX),
invests throughout Asia, including China and India. Our
International Opportunities Fund (OBIOX) is more
geographically diversified and carries an open mandate
to search the world outside of America for undiscovered
growth opportunities. The Fund is registered under the
Investment Company Act of 1940 as an open end,
diversified management Investment Company and is
qualified for sale in the 50 states. OAM is the
Investment Advisor to the Funds.
